To All Members of NBLSC/NBTA: NBLSC Enhanced Attorney Biographies Online

A few weeks ago we sent you a letter concerning the new webpage. We received many responses and suggestions, some of which we have already accepted and instituted into the program. I also notified you at the time that in order to maintain the webpage that we would probably need to charge some sort of fee. A couple of people responded saying that they didn't want to have to pay $250.00 more for what they perceived as a "dues increase". By far the overwhelming response was in favor of the webpage and what we had accomplished.

What we have decided is this: if you were to look at your "bio" you will see it is very meager - albeit what it has always been in the past. The "information" necessary may be there, but some may wish more. We are thus offering this OPTION. If you wish to upgrade the "bio", the cost will be $100.00 maintenance per year which will of course allow annual changes in the "bio". We will limit what can be inserted to a total of no more than 500 words. It will have to meet with the ethical requirements of your jurisdiction. You may write it and forward it to us and we will have the right to edit if necessary with the understanding we want to do as little editing as possible.

So, if and only if, you wish to take advantage of this OPTION, and certainly we expect that most people will for the modest sum of $100.00, you can have an upgraded "bio". The process of doing this will be to simply email your bio to bios@nbtanet.org or send a web address where your bio can be found online to bios@nbtanet.org.
